Purpose
Usage
Click the edit trims button to activate it. The control polygon lines become
visible. Now select a surface for trim editing by clicking on one of its
control polygons in the model window with the mouse. The contour window will change to a trim window. This window displays a rectangle defining the parameter region of the selected surface.
If trim curves had been created earlier for the selected surface, they will
also be displayed.
Comments
The edit trims mode can be cancelled by selecting edit trims again.
New trim curves can be created using make curve and make sketch.
Trim curves must be closed and non intersecting. If a trim curve is not closed or if it is self-intersecting, then a button with invalid trim appears underneath the edit trim button. If the trim curve is valid then this button is labeled trim inside or trim outside, depending on which part of the Nurbs is trimmed away. Push this button to flip sides.
