Usage
focus determines the distance from the camera where the image will be most sharp. The distance from the camera to the focus point is displayed by a yellow line.
Focus can be changed using the mouse after clicking on the focus button (or using the keyboard when keyboard is activated). The focus can also be changed by entering a value in the focus input box.
aperture determines how intensely the image will be blurred before and beyond the focus point. The larger the value for aperture, the stronger the blurring. The default value of 0.00 results in no blurring.
Comments
Rendering time will increase when using depth of field.
When using a high value for aperture, a higher precision for depth of field (render options menu) may be needed to increase rendering quality.
Selecting a higher precision for anti-aliasing will also increase the quality of the blurring.
Focus and aperture cannot be animated.
