pan


Purpose
To rotate the camera around its center point in a left/right direction for the currently active window.

Usage
Click the pan button to activate it. By holding the middle mouse button down while moving the mouse left or right, the camera in the currently active window will rotate left or right until you press the left mouse button. If keyboard is active, a numerical entry is required. You will then receive the following prompt in the status area:

pan ?

In response to this prompt, type the number of degrees that you want the camera to rotate left (negative value) or right (positive value).

Comments
All panning movements are relative to the current position of the camera. Using the pan input box, an absolute pan angle can be entered.
