Introduction

The channels menu has been designed particularly for supporting conversion procedures to import and export 3D geometry files from and to other systems.

The plug-in tools are converter programs that are part of the corresponding CAD systems. They can not be started or accessed from the GIG interface.

Known bugs: From the channels menu, you cannot start up a tool from the Tools menu. You will first have to switch to e.g. the General menu, and then to the Tools menu.
