Introduction

The page size menu provides libraries in which page sizes can be created or selected for the following media types: video, printer and photographic transparency. It also supplies an option to adjust the colors displayed on the screen so that they approximate the colors of a printed output medium.
The selected page size will be saved together with the environment when using save ani or save still. The page size saved with the still or ani file will be used as default setting when rendering the file using render still, render ani or the render manager.
The get page size and save page size options for retrieving and saving page sizes are used in combination with one of the following library selection buttons: video, print, cine/slide or miscellaneous.
The selected page size will be displayed in the status area, supplying format data (the name of the page size used in the library), the number, distribution and size of pixels in horizontal and vertical direction, plus the pixel ratios. These input boxes can also be used to define new pagesizes.

Note:
Images rendered with GIG are stored in TIFF or TARGA format. The stored images will not contain information regarding size(mm) or pixels/mm.

page size databoxes
These input boxes can be found in the status area of the page size menu. They are used to display the current page size data or as an input box for new page size settings. The selected medium decides which of the page size databoxes are applicable. The settings will be saved with the environment when using save still or save ani, and will be used as the default setting for render still, render ani and the render manager.
