ball

Purpose
To add a ball solid primitive to the environment.

Usage
Click the ball button to activate it. The ball will appear at the world origin.

Comments
The way in which the ball is added to the environment depends on which of the following toggle buttons is active: new/fix solid, group, union, subtract, intersect or overlay.

Example
When subtract was activated before selecting ball, the ball will be subtracted from the active part of the environment. When new/fix solid was activated, the ball will replace the complete environment.

The local axes origin of the ball will be at the center of the ball, at global coordinates x 0, y 0, z 0. The ball is a solid primitive which has its local origin coinciding with the global origin. The radius of a ball is one unit. A ball has only one side attribute.

Remember, if you introduce a new solid you should give it a tag in the tag input box in the status area.
